Russell Herder Creative Work Honored with Seven Prestigious National Awards
Creative work completed for the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) in Washington, D.C. has been honored with two awards in Association TRENDS’ 2015 All-Media Contest: gold for the Student Chapter Kick-Off Kit and silver for the 2015/2016 Outlook and State of the Industry research report.
The TRENDS All-Media Contest is an annual competition held exclusively for associations, recognizing the most creative and effective communication vehicles developed in the industry over the prior year. The recent competition encompassed nearly 400 entries in association communications. Award-winning RH client work will be recognized at the 37th Annual Salute to Association Excellence, to be held March 4 at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C.
In addition, ASID received a Gold Award in the 13th Annual Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA) for a social media outreach campaign that earned thousands of followers, and also received honors for a video RH produced in New York City entitled, ‘The Impact of Design’, and an integrated marketing communications campaign developed to promote ASID’s 40th anniversary.
The SIA Awards were created over a decade ago to recognize communications excellence within industry and related associations. This year, judges evaluated more than 1,700 entries from 500 advertising agencies and 750 organizations across the U.S. The winning entries were recognized by a national panel of SIA Awards judges for creative and strategic quality.
Russell Herder earned a Gold Award for a series of brochures for the Agricultural Utilization Research Institute focused on the food, renewable energy, biobased and coproducts sectors, and also received honors for a video created to promote awareness of synthetic drugs for the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
Finally, we were honored to accept a Telly Award for a Department of Human Services synthetic drug awareness campaign video. The Telly Awards honor the very best film & video productions and recognized the video for being groundbreaking online video content.
