Nobody expects a heart attack or stroke, but for some, taking a simple, low-dose daily aspirin can significantly reduce one’s risk. The Minnesota Heart Health Program (sponsored by the University of Minnesota School of Public Health and Lillehei Heart Institute) launched a campaign into the communities of Duluth and St. Cloud, encouraging residents to discuss aspirin with their doctor. Russell Herder developed an flexible, visually striking campaign, including a redesigned website, online advertising, posters, brochures and an interactive, text-message based self-assessment. To reach audiences and engage communities, we partnered with local clinic providers, equipping them for success.
