Two education and prevention campaigns produced by Russell Herder for the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) were recognized recently with national awards in four separate competitions for creative and strategic excellence. DHS campaigns for opioid abuse and problem gambling prevention, both designed to increase awareness and highlight resources available for those in need, were honored.The opioid abuse and misuse and the problem gambling campaigns both received Healthcare Advertising Awards.
The opioid campaign also received honors in the Aster Awards, a national healthcare marketing competition judged by design and healthcare marketing professionals. Further, campaign elements received recognition in the premier PR Daily’s Social Media and Digital Awards competition and the National Health Information Awards, honoring the nation’s best consumer health programs and outreach campaigns.
