We would like to share some exciting news about our most recent additions in several key job roles at Russell Herder.
Robert Graves is our new digital director. He guides our website design, development and maintenance efforts and digital advertising. Robert and his team also help clients increase their web presence through targeted advertising and SEO techniques. Robert builds tailor made plans for our clients to ensure their websites are functioning efficiently and to coordinate their digital marketing efforts into a uniform strategy that drives new business. Robert and his team look for new ways to help clients improve their web presence, increase traffic and ultimately achieve their business goals.
Before joining us, Robert worked at a digital advertising firm in St. Louis as a digital marketing technician. In that role he helped clients write and design advertising campaigns to connect with a targeted audience and use analytics to uncover new consumers and support new business ventures. He is certified with Google Adwords and Google Analytics and Russell Herder’s digital team is recognized with Google Premier Partner status.
Garnetta Lowman recently joined us in client services. She serves as a liaison between Russell Herder and its clients to facilitate communication with respect to project creative direction, timeline execution and presentation of the product to decision makers and end users.
Before joining the agency, she worked in the nonprofit sector. She also has significant experience in client relations, retail, employee training and human resources.
Garnetta earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and a Mini MBA for Nonprofit Organizations from the University of St. Thomas. Garnetta also has certifications in Project Management and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
Robin Melville joins the team as a brand planner. She works with our clients to connect their ideas, products and services with targeted audiences and consumers. Robin is a strategic thinker and partners with our clients to further define their goals and most effectively tell their brand story. She is a tireless researcher, utilizing data, analytics and market trends to identify opportunities to align the brand with market needs.
Her background is in marketing, sales, media planning and market research in the publishing and health care industries, as well as within the agency environment.
Patrick Thornton is our new director of public relations. He comes to us after leading the external communications for Stinson Leonard Street, one of the top 200 largest law firms with nearly 500 attorneys and offices in 15 U. S. locations. At Stinson he directed the proactive public relations, social media and crisis communications efforts for the firm.
He has formed strong media relationships with traditional and digital news sources across the country. He has placed stories in a variety of local, regional, trade and national print publications as well as web, radio and television touting the firm’s successes and expertise. He also worked with the firm’s clients in several key industries including healthcare, agriculture, energy, financial services and technology to identify and capitalize on opportunities to secure positive media coverage.
At Stinson Patrick also led the firm’s social media and search engine optimization training and regularly coached attorneys for media interviews and public speaking events. In addition, he was a member of the firm’s diversity committee.
Patrick was trained as a journalist and reported and edited for several publications. He also worked as a communications strategist for the Minnesota House of Representatives.
