Agriculture plays a huge role in the American economy and directly affects us every day, but the industry isn’t always at media’s forefront. The wealth of activity, innovation and valuable information found within food science and production has unlimited value. Creating content around this allows it to be shared.
Part of what we’ve done with the Agricultural Utilization Research Institute (AURI) includes research around opportunities for growth in Minnesota’s hemp market and aquaculture industry. This provided them a full, data-backed perspective on new opportunities to explore to advance strategy and help guide decisions.
For the past several years, we’ve served as AURI’s communications and public relations partner. We understand the importance of sharing information in an accurate, engaging way to create transparency around agriculture, and we’ve been able to accomplish this through our ongoing communication efforts.
Our work has helped the organization reach key stakeholders and new audiences across the country through media outreach, creative design work, external communications and public relations, digital advertising and brand strategy.
Consistent, well-strategized communication can also bring attention to initiatives within an industry, like National Agriculture Day in late March, attracting a wider audience for greater impact. This event brings leaders together to look at agriculture through a lens of long-term sustainability, focusing on ways to raise awareness about agricultural values.
Through our partnership with AURI, we’ve spread awareness about their capabilities and their mission to foster economic growth in the region through value-added initiatives. This increased strategic communication has also demonstrated the value of AURI to the State of Minnesota, the Upper Midwest and the region’s food and agriculture industry.
