Russell Herder Receives Service Industry Advertising Award for MVTA Video

Russell Herder’s work for the Minnesota Valley Transit Authority (MVTA) was recently recognized by the Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAAwards). “A Seamless Service Symphony” was named a winner and awarded in the Special Video category.

Russell Herder partnered with the public transportation agency to promote ridership throughout its service area, seven suburbs within Dakota and Scott counties in the southern suburbs of the Twin Cities. A video advertisement was developed to showcase the brand as part of a newly developed campaign, titled “We Got This.” The video and campaign integrate into a larger outreach initiative advanced by Russell Herder.

“A Seamless Service Symphony” was a collaborative and multifaceted production. Musicians from the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra, numerous bus drivers, crew members and production staff worked to coordinate and execute the multi-camera shoot on location at the Southbridge Crossing Park & Ride.

Clients turn to Russell Herder to plan and execute complex projects that involve strategic direction and creative problem solving. Russell Herder helps clients take their message to new audiences through targeted outreach through innovative storytelling platforms.

The SIAAwards is a national awards body that recognizes creativity and communication accomplishments of the service industry. A panel of industry specialists reviews submissions, judging entrees on creativity, marketing execution, message impact, technology application and innovation of content. Past recipients of SIAAwards include Dunkin’ Donuts, Geico, YMCA , and more.
