Minnesota B Corporation Russell Herder Named to the “Best for the World” List

Russell Herder has been recognized as a Best for the World honoree by B Lab, an independent organization that measures business performance. The award highlights companies using the power of business to achieve a higher purpose than singularly optimizing profits.

The Best for Governance category, which RH has been recognized within, includes businesses that score in the top 10 percent of 2,544 Certified B Corporations on the B Impact Assessment for creating innovative governance structures to protect its mission for the long term.

In simplest terms, B Corps are to business what Fair Trade certification is to coffee or USDA Organic is to milk. Companies such as Patagonia, Athleta, Method, Ben & Jerry’s – and Russell Herder – are for-profit, certified by an independent assessment organization to meet rigorous standards of performance, ethics, accountability and transparency.
