RH Helping Families Feel Embraced, Assured and Celebrated Through B Corp Work

Russell Herder has a proud tradition as one of the few internationally certified B Corp advertising agencies in the U.S. As part of this commitment, we routinely lend our time and talents to work with clients that share our goal of using business as a force for good.

Since 2018, the Crescent Cove Respite & Hospice Home for Kids has offered care and support to children and young adults with a shortened life-expectancy, and to their families who love them. In addition to pediatric palliative care, Crescent Cove also provides is short term care when necessary to relieve families or other persons caring for children.

It is the only such organization in Minnesota and one of three in the U.S. and is fully supported through philanthropy and donations. Crescent Cove’s goal is to “to help families feel embraced, assured, and celebrated.”

Russell Herder has partnered with Crescent Cove for several years. Our creative team has worked on a brand redesign, created materials for the annual fundraising gala and contributed to many other projects to help raise awareness around this amazing home for kids and the services it provides.

The RH team recently visited Crescent Cove, which is located on a serene and beautiful piece of property in the suburbs of the Twin Cities on the shores of Twin Lake. The outside space has a large, accessible playground, walking paths, a dock and gazebo. Inside, there are several bedrooms, a common playroom, a music and sensory room and private suite for visiting families. The space is large and welcoming. The team met with the staff at Crescent Cove to learn more about the organization, its mission and its future goals to serve more children and their families. We are honored to work with Crescent Cove and to earn the trust of this truly remarkable organization.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, RH’s B Corp work did not stop in 2020. Through a committed team and the shared philosophy of our clients, we impacted organizations, individuals and families locally, regionally and nationally. We provided $185,000 in pro bono professional strategic and creative services to nearly a dozen organizations that are dedicated to economic sustainability, the arts, and health and wellness causes.
